Major change  to the book listings.....

sorry guys, the axe falls on this section as well. Some of you might be aware that the major US publisher of tool books has recently changed hands. With it came a quite dramatic price increase and worse, there are no more discounted lines.  At the same time, shipping costs have increased by 30%, customs clearance and duties by another 20%. By the time the book arrives here it already costs twice the original purchase price and I need to charge you that plus GST and a profit margin and hit you with a further hefty postage charge for the Australian leg of the book's journey .... no wonder the orders have all but stopped. I can't really blame anybody for ordering either from one of the US book sellers, eBay or Amazon etc because even though the postage from the USA to Australia is high, you'll probably still end up paying less - and no GST for single purchases. I simply can't compete.

I might re-instate this page later with second-hand books.
