Sceptics might point out that eBay has millions of visitors against my 200- 300 per day. It's a myth  eBay loves to spread around. List your old Stanley 4 on eBay and millions of visitors will fight over it! You'll be lucky if 50 people will actually look at it during 7 days of listing and once the eBay and paypal fees are paid you'll probably come to the inevitable conclusion that you could have done a lot better yourself. I did.

I do not endorse any tools listed here, not because I don't trust the sellers but because I can't possibly know anything about a tool I haven't inspected myself. Very rare, original Stanley 12B scraper blades box with 5 scraper blades. An exceptional find and not to be missed. 4 of the blades have been beveled, but used very little if any, and have the proper SW logo and the No. 12B on them. The other blade looks unused, has the SW logo and has Made in Can No. 12 on it and it does have some etching on it. The box is average with one long flat edge of the top separated and 2 corners of the inside box loose. It also comes with Stanley's sharpening instructions guide. I have watched these blades on ebay for the last 5 years and they, when and if they come up, bring $125 to $175 alone (these blades alone on ebay are worth $500 to $700). This is an unusual find in that it is an extreme rarity to find this many blades together at one time and with their original box. Price is $600 for the set.  dbfdesigns@hotmail.com

Millers Falls USA vintage 1 3/4" plane blades to suit No 3 & 5 1/4 bench planes and some compass planes. A box of Six in mint unused condition available individually or the complete six with box. Can be identified as 1930's-40's vintage having the 1868 date and blade size stamped with logo. Contain very nice steel with good edge holding. Stanley No 191 Rebate plane made in USA 1 1/4" wide blade, would appear 1940's era (no nickel plating to blade cap screw) in fine condition, little use appears to have original grind to blade and is complete with spur and depth stop.   Stanley #45 in very good condition. im not a collector, im a user although i work on wooden sailboats for a living. I used this tool once on a furniture project, interesting experience. as far as i know it's all there. three of the bars have some light rust as well as a few of the cutters. from the finish on the handles, i'd guess this is from the 50's. please make me an offer. thanks.charles.anxiousman7@gmail.com
Melbourne This No 41 Stanley Millers Plow Plane a believe to be a Type 7 , The plane itself is complete. It hasn't any cutters only the fillister blade. The plane has no chips, cracks or repairs. The fillister has had the spur chipped out and another one made to replace it. The Japanning is at least 85% over all with most of the loss to the main ridge. There is no rust or pitting to any parts, a very nice aged patina all over. Very nice Rosewood handle ( no damage ) No pliers marks etc to the brass curling on all the screws.Any more pic etc please ask. Asking price $1475.00  saddlecovers@bigpond.com

 Chaplins Improved Patent Plane
Rare & hard to find plane. Good condition. Has the four patent dates on the side of plane. April 17 1888, Feb 14 1899, Oct 30 1900, Dec23 1902.  Original near full plane iron with Chaplins Improved Patent mark. Jappanning good ~90% and some nickel remaining. These came with either a hard rubber or wooden tote and I think this one has the wooden tote. Only apology is that I think the lateral adjustment lever has been repaired at some stage but still works fine. Some age marking on sole and minor pitting on iron. ACT Stewart Handy Worker     Rare and Hard to find item made by Cooper Engineering Co Ltd Sydney c1920. Quite a solid and useful anvil and vice combination tool. Vice about 100mm wide length ~580mm by 300mm high. Good working order. This one comes with an original cut off hardy for the anvil.
