Stanley 42 Millers Patent Adjustable Plough Plane offered 1871 - 1892 value A$ 2,500 + with filletster bed more for early models. Less for models with replaced parts like cast iron fence. 10 1/2" long with a set of 10 cutters Same as 41 but with gunmetal body and fence. Filletster bed and optional outer fence were cast iron. Bodies sell for around $ 500 - they are often married with cast iron 41 fences and other bits and pieces but they are good enough for a very showy display piece. Before you take out a second mortgage to buy the entire Millers Patent 40 range I suggest you invest a bit of time in research. |
